MISSION
Our mission is to defend and advance the fundamental rights of Indigenous Peoples worldwide, upholding our sovereignty, self-determination, and autonomy through reciprocal partnerships with Indigenous communities, international institutions, and allies. We advance social justice and economic prosperity while protecting and promoting Indigenous knowledge to sustain cultural continuity. We support the defense and stewardship of our ancestral lands and territories, uphold the rights of Earth and Water, and work in reciprocity with our communities to safeguard our collective well-being for present and future generations, in the Spirit of Unity.
VISION
We envision a world where the rights of Indigenous Peoples and all humanity are recognized, respected, and upheld. A world where Indigenous communities flourish alongside all nations, exercising our sovereignty and self-determination, enjoying social justice and economic prosperity, and celebrating life in accordance with our ancestral knowledge and values.
OUR TEAM
iINDIGENOUS is an Indigenous-led organization guided by experienced leadership and Indigenous advisors committed to advancing the rights, representation, and self-determination of Indigenous Peoples.
Our leadership brings decades of experience in Indigenous advocacy, international diplomacy, education, and nonprofit management, including longstanding engagement with the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII).
